Broccoli is a good source of vitamins C and A. It provides iron and other minerals and is low in calories. As with many other vegetables, broccoli should be cooked using as little water as possible. It should be cooked quickly to preserve nutrients and for best flavor. We grow Belstar, Arcadia and Gypsy varieties of broccoli.
We are using some pesticide treatments early in the season then switch to biological controls for root maggots and cabbage worm. |
